1. First, you'll need to open your Homestead Account. You can go and open your Homestead Account by clicking on the link below. You'll be taken to the Homestead site in a new window.
2. After your account is opened, you'll need to send me an email with your Log-In Name and your Password. At this time you will also need to let me know what name (Title) you have chosen for your web site.
(examples: MyYorkies, TheSmithFamily, OurTravels, MyClubsWebSite, etc.)
3. You'll need to choose which size of web site you want me to do for you. If you have chosen the Silver Starter package, I'll be able to make 4 to 10 pages for you. The size of your web site is up to you. The Silver Starter package limits to 10 the number of pages allowed.

4. You'll need to tell me what kind of page you want, send me the ideas that you have in mind for your page setup, and send me any photos (with captions) that you want on your web site. I'll need to know if you want a very serious formal web site or whether you prefer a whimsical, informal web site. (If you don't already have photos scanned and downloaded into your computer, you can just mail them to me and I can scan them for you.) If you have some special photos that you think may be too dark, send them to me anyway, . . . I may be able to lighten them up for you. Then, I will mail your photos back to you.
5. If you want to pick out a special 'theme' for your web site, you can describe what you're looking for and I can probably find something suitable that I already have here on my computer.
6. If you want background music for your web site, that is also available at no additional charge. You'll only need to tell me which tune you'd like and I can then go and find it on the Internet at one of the many .midi web sites that are out there.
7. I'll give you your web site address so you can monitor your web sites' progress as I'm working on it and offer suggestions for changes.
8. During this period, you and I will work very closely together to come up with a web site that suits your needs and that you will be proud of.
9. Once the web site is finished, you can publicize it to all your relatives and friends. I'll post it to search engines so others looking for sites like yours will be able to find it easily.
